Bernice McMillan

Mrs.
McMillan has been volunteering for 43 years. She has two
children and three grandchildren. Currently she volunteers
at North Little Rock Police and Fire Training Departments.
When asked about the legacy she would like to live, she
said: "Of course volunteering is a wonderful thing. I
would like to see peace, people having respect for others
and teaching their children to have respect for themselves
as well, kindness, patience and lots of prayer."
Dr. Raymond Biondo

Dr.
Biondo has been volunteering for 40 years. He currently
volunteers with the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare
System, Boy Scouts of America, Jewish War Veterans of USA,
Natl. Museum of American Jewish Military History, Arkansas
Healthcare Access Foundation, Arkansas Consumer Health Info
Network, AARP, LaCasa Health Network, Inc., UALR American
Humanics Program, UAMS College of Pharmacy Diversity
Committee. Dr. Biondo says he would like to "Make today
count."
Alico Lupo

Mrs.
Lupo has been volunteering for 10 years. She currently
volunteers at the Dunbar Senior Center. Mrs. Lupo says
that her legacy is to "leave the spirit for the love of
others and to give help where it is needed."
Dr. Jerry Sherman

Dr.
Sherman has been volunteering for 48 years. He has three
children and six grandchildren. Dr. Sherman currently
volunteers at the Little Rock West Lions Club, AARP #34,
Veterans Hospital, Veterans Coalition, and the Jewish War
Veterans of USA. Dr. Sherman believes that "We should be
concerned about helping others, not just ourselves."
